TITLE Ndebele
ARTIST STATEMENT The piece entails a performance based on my love of the Southern African Ndebele tribe. In the performance I will transform myself into Ndebele woman in my own image. During the performance I will put on selected items as part of my transformation. Once I have gone through my transformation I perform a drinking ritual, which will then mark the end of my performance.
